Program Overview

The Gold Coast Academy of Sport is pleased to be delivering on behalf of Little Athletics Queensland a full-day athletics program. Organised and run by the academy, the camp will be led by Olympic Gold Medalist and level 5 coach, Glynis Nunn OAM.

The program is for athletes aged 13-17 years of age, and Little Athletics coaches from across Queensland and neighboring states who wish to listen, learn and be mentored by experienced coaches across various disciplines.

The day will cover all aspects of Track and Field disciplines that are in the Little Athletics field and will be strengthened by offering participants professionally presented sessions on the holistic approach to sports development. Topics covered will be Nutrition, Sports Psychology and Body Maintenance and recovery.

Athletes will be led by leading coaches not only in Queensland but also from interstate to ensure the best possible delivery of information. Coaches are invited to attend to promote coach education and the opportunity to take the knowledge developed back to their local centers.
