The Academy would like to congratulate 2022 Future Stars participant and GCAS Male Athlete of the Year Thomas on recently being awarded the 2022 Junior Paddler of the Year by Paddle Queensland.
Thomas’s coach from the Currumbin Creek Paddlers Club has said “he is always the first to help out.”
The award was given to a paddler who demonstrates:
- Outstanding sportsmanship
- Representation at State and National levels
- Strong club spirit and willingness to assist with club activities.
